Can anyone point me at a decent solve guide for this one please? The 2 I found on youtube were very hard to follow and I tried the one at Mefferts / Jaap's Puzzle page and couldn't follow the annotation. I kept messing up.

It's very easy in my opinion. First ignore the centers and just solve it like a plain old pyraminx. To solve the centers, it's just doing (R L' R' L) x3 in the right place.

If you can solve a Skewb Ultimate, you should be able to solve this too if that helps.

My method is what GuiltyBystander said. I solve it as I would solve a Pyraminx and then swapping the two pairs of centres is easy.

Step 1: Corners
Just twist the corners to be solved in relation to each other.

Step 2: Edges
3- Edge Cycle: (L' U L U') (Mirror or reverse as necessary)

If you have 2 edges flipped, you'll need to swap three edges, including the two that are flipped, and turn the puzzle to face a different direction and do the cycle again.

Step 3:
Swap Centers: (R U R' U') x3

Not entirely sure how, but I sort of solved it by accident!

Rentlix, does your solving strategy involve putting your puzzle in the microwave until it melts? That's some shape mod!
