hi guys! i just got a fisher cube. i tried to solve it by applying dan brown's method, and it worked fine until the "blue cross" part. ok, so i got 2 stuck situations:

1) i have just 1 top edge piece flipped.

2) i have 3 top edge pieces flipped.

and dan did not explain these cases, so i assume these are impossible. BUT!! i have never taken apart my fisher cube before!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess you solve it layer by layer and got the problem when solving the top layer cross. If this is the case, notice that the edges in the middle layer have no directions, so use an alg to flip one of the edges in the second layer and this special situation will not appear.

I use the (R U' U' R' U)*2 (F' U' F) to flip the edge in the FR place in a rubik's cube, so you may use it in fisher's cube too.
