What do you average on the 3x3?

So how fast are you guys? I'm not that fast, but I'm definably better than I was back in April (a minute 40 back then; ~30ish~ seconds, maybe a bit more or less now). And how long have you been cubing? about 7 months for me.

Feel free to leave a comment on the subject. :wink:

im sub-20. i could be faster but i dont practice.
sub-20 is good enough for me.haha

I've been cubing for a year, and I chose 20-30 and 30-40 as my answer, because my average is 30 seconds.

I've been properly cubing since January 2009, and I now average between 12-13 seconds usually, with my best average being 11.93 seconds.

I agree Kelvin! There is a very nice Bell Curve distribution. I average around 40 which is slow. Keep in mind though that I do not know the pll or oll algorithms. Never had time to memorize all of them.

These days probably about 55 seconds (with my 1980 own method of course). Got it down to low 40s in the days when I cared.

Average 50seconds approx, but fours months ago I did about 40 seconds.

My PB stand (and will stand I'm sure) at 29.98 seconds with the beginner method

i've been cubing for a little more than three years but only really started focusing on speed in the past few months. My PB is 17.24 and my best average of 5 is 21.30. Hoping that once I learn OLL (I've memorized all PLL), I can finally get sub-20 more consistently.

I have been cubing for almost 4 years now, and before I quit for a while (6-7months), I averaged sub 15. Now, I'm sub 30, and I am working on rememorizing f2l and oll (pll is already memorized).

been playing with rubik cubes since 1980...i average about 1 min...i solve for the way it helps me forget the worlds woes...i also like doing the teraminx...its like doing the long walkabout in an existential kind of way...

I had to do a couple of averages but i got a sub 30 with a 27.77 average of 5 just so i could tick the 20-30 box hahaha.

I got my first cube about 18 months ago.
