Finally nailed the last OLL I needed to get the full set - Cross Non-symmetric.

I now know the 7 OLL cases (Sune, Anti-Sune, Headlights, Chameleon, Diagonal Corners, Cross Symmetric and Cross Non-Symmetric), and the 6 PLL cases I need ( A-Perm (clockwise - I was going to learn anticlockwise but it isn't needed ever!), U-Perm (both), H-Perm, Z-Perm and Y-Perm (only took 18 months!)

I can get the yellow cross from the J and the bar with one alg, but I can't get to it from the dot without doing F RUR'U' F', then rotating that centre slice that runs parallel with F (I forget the move's correct name - is it S?), clockwise with respect to F (so F becomes f) then RUR'U'f'.

Anyone get a better dot to cross alg?

Here's a couple that I've seen that are pretty cool.
Using slices
Here's one I saw when learning some of the Fridrich method. It's a lot more intuitive.

Hey, I can't see those applets. I just see a grey box. Could someone give me the notation for both?

The notation is in the urls. MR means turn the middle slice in the same direction as R.
Code:
MR U MR U MR U MR U ML U ML U ML U ML U
R L F R2 U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 F' R' L'

That's what i use; courtesy of cubefreak.net.

And trust me, 4 look ll will take you a long ways (along with intuitive f2l). I still use it, and my PB is 19 seconds (~30ish~ average)! :D
