Mefferts are still advertising their Helicopter Cube solution as coming out about 5th May. I assume we'll get it some point after we get the Jade Club puzzles, which is after world peace, hell freezing over and having a trustworthy government.

Otherwise you could always look for some tips and pointers in the Gelatin Brain's Applet Solutions Discussion Thread :D

I made a video (no jumbling though).

Nice work on solving it yourself, how did you go about it? From that point it is just 2 set-up moves then the regular (UR, UF)x3 which swaps 2 pairs of centres then undo the set-up moves, 10 moves in total. Also i assume you didn't jumble it because i can see those pieces are in the correct orbits.
I like how the helicopter cube is a rather simple puzzle when not jumbled but once pieces have changed orbits by jumbling it get's more difficult so you can kind of chose how hard a solve you want. My first jumbled solve took quite a while but i found it easier to solve an orbit at a time rather than a face at a time. I only got mine yesterday and it's fast becoming my favourite puzzle that i have a physical copy of. I just got a 5:57 completely jumbled solve which i'm happy with for now.

If you haven't already tried jumbling good luck when you do.

For that particular case, if U is blue and F is red.
Do UF FR (UF UR)*3 FR UF

Guess you know that by now actually...

Just wondering, has anybody made a solution that works for a jumbled scramble? I wrote one out tonight even though it almost killed me, and it works for all the parity cases I have found.

There is only/first full solution I know of posted online with graphics. The solution comes in two stages. First, you un-jumble the cube by restoring the orbits. Then you follow a standard-type solution to complete it. There is only one very simple jumbling algorithm to memorize. The rest is easy-to-follow standard notation. It also covers the common parity case of two pieces in the last orbit need swapped. Hope this helps.
