Ok... still trying to do this myself. While trying to create that pattern on the cube I ran into a problem.

The face centers on a helicoper cube exist in 4 orbits. One piece of each color is in each orbit. Starting from the U face and working my way down I've gotten this far. All the checked stickers/pieces are in the correct position but I can't get the next green piece (the one with the x) in the correct position. It then hit me. The green piece with the star is already in this orbit. To get two green pieces in this orbit I believe jumbling is required and I'm sort of stuck at the moment.

Boy is it alot harder to solve a cube to a particular scrambled state then it is the solved state. I've stuck little pieces of post-it sheets to the pieces on my Up face just to help me keep track of the faces.

Thanks... I'm almost there now. Just need to cycle these 4 face pieces and again I think I need a jumbling move. This thing looks so scrabled the hard part is just keeping the faces strait.

And I thought it was hard to keep the faces strait before... just try to walk through Vladimir's directions when the cube isn't even a cube any longer.

My Dino dodecahedron came today, solved it, then made this patters. It's really the only pattern I can think of on a dino-dodec.

Youtube user Crazy56U (is he/she here?) challenged me to make a snake pattern on a 3x3x5 in a outube comment on my gigaminx snake. I don't have one, but it inspired me to make one on my 3x3x4. Video available. Enjoy

On the Gem I, there are some really easy superflip patterns you can do by rotating the edges. I can flip three, four, or any number of edges on the Dayan Gem I, however only flipping just one or two edges seems impossible. Sans jumbling, they only seem to be flippable in specific combinations. Just do 180 degree rotations of three adjacent centers in a circular pattern. It takes nine moves to flip three centers. I don't have my camera handy, so no pics at the moment

Ok, I was reluctant to publish this since it’s not my cube and I wanted to wait for the V11 to be released. But since snakes are becoming less rare, I like to show my double snake on a 11x11x11. Please watch the video for the full pattern

The double snake is looked very beautifully. On a cube 17х17х17 it is possible to solve three, four and even five snakes.

6 Pinwheels/Swasticas

I created this lovely pattern on the Mosaic Cube by alternating rotations of big corners and little corners in a tetrahedral formation. They'd look more like pinwheels and less like swasticas if you apply the six spots pattern to it.

Notation:
UFR = rotate Up-Front-Right large corner clockwise
ufr = rotate Up-Front-Right small corner clockwise
(...) x3 = perform sequence three times

Second, you need to create Mezon shape. Here I'm using the following notation:

- letters help you to distinguish edges: LF is the edge between Left and Forward faces, UB is the edge between Upper and Backward faces and so on;

- numbers are angles of the turn in degrees from the current position of the edge;

- signs "+" and "-" set the direction of the turn when you are looking at the edge from the outside: "+" means clockwise, "-" means counterclockwise; obviously, 180 degrees turns don't need any direction sign.

The sequence:

UR72+ UF180 LF108+ DF72+ LF72+ DF108+ UR108+ RF180 UR72+

We've got one pair of central pieces rotated now and we assume that it occupies the desired position on the cube already.

UF72- LF180 UF180 LF108+

We've got two more pairs rotated. Now we need to move them to their positions:

LF72+ LD180 LF180 LD108-
LB72- LD180 LB180 LD108+
LB72+ DB180 LB180 DB108-

The second pair have reached its position. We had to move it through 3 edges instead of 2 edges to set the orientation required (otherwise we'd get wrong orientation).

LF72+ UF180 LF180 UF108-

The third pair reached its position. We are ready to create Helicopter Mezon now:

UF72- LD72- RB72-

That's all! Hope I managed not to make a mistake!

The solution is not optimal - it's just the one I managed to find and the one I managed to remember, so some rotations have 108 degrees angles instead of shorter 72 degrees - just to keep the direction of rotation constant, which is much easier to remember.

To make this pattern with your tutorial i need ~ 2 h. It works fine.

The 6-minuses on a Mosaic Cube looks more like a braided pattern, is it possible to do that pattern with only 4 sides (making a ring of colour)?

No, it's not sitting flat. The opposite Corner is twisted, too. The Helicopter Cube looks like yours but I placed a cap of a ballpen unter it so that cube-shape is parallel to the ground.
