I bought a c4u 3x3x4 yesterday and it's a really good puzzle.
By searching in the forum, I've solved most of the pieces but two opposite edges left.
I found a alg but then after solving these two pieces, the middle layer just flip in 180 degree which is the same as the middle layer of square-1.
I did search for a while but still I can't solve this so I need you guys' help.
P.S. Sorry for my poor grammar (maybe) because English is not my first language.

I solve the top and bottom first and then I solve the middle two layers. That's just easier for my method.
It sounds like all you need to do is turn the left layer 180 degrees then the top layer 180 degrees (repeat these steps three times). Now, the top middle layer should have the opposite centers switched. For this, all you have to do is the same sequence, just make sure that instead of turning the top layer you turn the middle top layer. Do not turn the top layer at all or you will be back where you started.
Hope this helps.

PS: Sorry for not using the solving lingo. I don't know it...I just explain using the layer positions.

From the perspective of the picture just posted with red in front, do F2 u2 F2 (R2 u2)x3 F2 u2 F2, with "u" being only the upper E slice. Yay, no parity!

Thanks for you guys to reply in this thread and now I can solve the 3x3x4, huuray. I used lonogod's method which is solving the outer layers first. Daedalus's method did solve the problem though another problem occur that the edges of UF and DF will be swapped. Although I can now solve the puzzle, I do hope to know the alg to solve my pevious problem.

If DF and UF are switched, just do D2 B2 to get them opposite on the same layer, then (R2 U2)x3. Then you have swapped dedges, like before.

Some interesting short and easy algorithms. 1) F - red, R - yellow. 2U2 F2 R2 u2 R2 F2 2U2 - [7] 2) (F2 R2 u2 R2)*2 - [8] 3) F - white, R - green. 2U2 M2 2U2 (F2 M2)*2 - [7] 4) F - white, U - green. r2 B2 U2 l U2 r' U2 r U2 F2 r F2 l' B2 r2 - [15] 5) F - white, R - green. 2U2 F2 (2U2 R2)*3 F2 2U2 - [10] 7) F - white, R - green. (F2 d2 F2) (2U2 R2)*3 (F2 d2 F2) - [12] 8) B - white, U - green. (L' U2)*2 F2 L' F2 R U2 R' U2 l2 - U2 (2L2 F2)*3 U2 2L2 - [21] 9) B - white, D - green. r E2 r' U2 F2 l' E2 l E2 F2 D2 - [11]
