here is a warning to people in Germany or who are going to Germany.
Lately there have been reports of giant bugs running wild around the German countryside.

It's not a bug, it's a feature.

No it's a bug in Google maps, oooh awful pun.

Aparantly there was just a bug on the camera of the plane that took this picture?

It's turned the wrong way for that. Besides, I thought those photos were made by satellites, not planes. No bugs up there.

The bug may actually be near the lens...
If we consider the photo to be taken by a plane, it is not so likely that the camera/lens is hanging unprotected outside the plane. It is far more likely that it is places inside a box or in the fusilage itself, and then taking the photo thru not only the lens but also a sheet of plexiglass or similar.
Then it might be possible that the bug is on that glass.
But, the mystery doesn't end there...
As Stefan Pochmann points out in this needed/good thread a camera can't focus on items that are closer than the lens can handle, and the lens for this photo is supposed to take sharp pictures on objects possibly some thousand meters down, so it is not likely that it is able to focus correctly on a bug that is (guessing) one meter from the lens...

Okey, I know this post might spoil the fun in the tread, but I just felt I had to say it...

So then you're saying that it's not close to the camera at all since it can't focus on the bug...

So then IT MUST BE 150 foot long BUG attacking Germany!!

ALL RUN AND PANIC NOW!! WE ARE DOOMED

hehehe :P

Maybe somebody lost the photos from that part, and to cover it up, they used a screenshot from Age of Empires. Only they forgot to remove one of the NPC
