I just got mine upgraded about a week ago (after my birthday ).
The old one:
Athlon 2200+
512MB RAM
80GB HD
some cheap 128MB graphics card (don't remember)
15" LCD monitor
The new one is:
Athlon X2 4200+
1GB Geil DDR2 RAM
250GB HD
GeForce 7600GT 256MB
19" LCD monitor
Not a huge change, but it works quite a bit smoother. And the games actually work on a decent resolution and with all the details on high
Anyway, if you can afford it and know it'll make you happy, get it. You can also get quite some money for the old parts (I couldn't believe what people would buy but I managed to sell a 17"CRT monitor and a Pentium 2 computer recently. And there I was, afraid I'll have to pay someone to take it).

I can't afford that stuff, I want to know what you think of me getting that stuff? I am not willing to spend anymore than what I have already posted.
