being a fan of being different, i intend to add another useless skill to my collection, so far it cubing, diabloing, and others i forgot about
but anyway, i want to start to learn to yo-yo, but i dont know about getting a decent yo-yo (a ball bearing one i pressume), if any of you know of places i can buy decent yo-yos from in england, i will be very grateful

Get a wooden yo-yo with a wooden axle. They are the best! The ball bearing ones sleep really well but nothing beats a nice wooden yo-yo if you ask me.
I had this one, despite it's very low price it's a great yo-yo.

good luck!

speaking of somewhat useless hobbies, i play the harmonica. Although it isn't all that useless, i can't be in any sort of band or anything, but its fun anyways. Just about the only time i really get to play it is when we go camping

I think the best yo-yo for its price is the BumbleBee (I think Duncan owns it now) SMOOTH string play, pretty good sleep time, and cork padding for precise control. If you get this, you won't want another one unless its a cold fusion Costs about 15 I think.
Just please don't get any of those stupid yoyos with brains ... UGH

my favorite yoyo is Spintastic's Tigershark G4.
butterfly design, smooth bearing/sleeper, and adjustable gap. it's "good" for loop tricks, but it really shines when it comes to string tricks and flips.
i haven't had one good experience with either duncan or yomega. yomega's "Raider" was alright. it just needs a butterfly design and it would be gold. but other than that, i stay away from the mainstream.
you also need some good lube and a ton of extra string!
