For a year or so before I got online I used to use my local library to surf the net. One of the problems I had was when I printed something out part of the right hand side was always missing. It was not possible to adjust settings and I assumed there was some fault with the setup. When I got my own computer however I had the same problem. I can get round it by selecting the landscape option but there must be a really easy solution I don't know about. I have experimented with the print setup and for a while it seemed OK but now I can't seem to get it right. A friend of mine has the same problem. Any help would be gratefully received.

Maybe just try a different browser. If you're not using Internet Explorer, try using that. I generally don't like it but sadly many stupid webmasters make their pages not according to open standards but according to Internet Explorer.
I use Opera and in "File"->"Print Options..." I can use "Scale print to..." to make it print smaller so that may help you.

I am using internet explorer. There are similar options you can use but it's a lot of messing around when I quickly want to print something. It would be good if I could somehow change the default settings.

My parents got a new laptop and got an epson stylus all-in-one printer free after rebate. The epson printer included software to make web pages fit-to-page. I haven't tried it yet, but I new they were happy since many pages get cut off down the right side of a page.

So it is a common problem then. I have tried adjusting margins BTW but they never stay adjusted.

yayy I have to agree 100%...I do love firefox(which is on the mozilla site) becuase most online virus implementers never target firefox. They target internet explorer.
Firefox may require some customization but after a while one usually thinks that that firefox is more superior compared with other browsers

Mozilla firefox is better because:
- you have less problems with virus
- you can control pop-ups (for example publicity windows)
- support png transparences (for example, I use it in my forum)
etc...
but....
there are some webs that don't work correctly with firefox and other webs don't work correctly with internet explorer...
So I use alway mozilla but sometimes I have to use internet explorer
