I've just seen a cup-stacking article on the news, for about the 5th time this week.

Don't you think that the cube deserves more publicity? Ive never seen a cube-related news article, or advert on the tv. I imagine that with a big campaign, it would become vastly popular again with the younger, and older amongst us.

Ive seen a couple of commercials inthe past year with a rubik's cube in it, but one was for cars and the other was for something else.

A commercial would probably help, but who doesn't know what a rubik's cube is?

I guess...but I bet if there was ever a speedcuber doing his stuff on the tv over here, the cube would interest many more people than those who see it as being merely a little puzzle. I know that if ever someone sees me solving the cube, most seem truly interested - even if they have known what a cube is for ages.

Never thought I hear "Rubik's Cube" and "Lady Chatterly's Lover" being compared...

Has anyone seen the "extreme cubing" vid? It's a guy (speed)solving while doing Parkour! I've lost the link but I'm sure someone'll have it.
Also check out Gilles Roux page. He has some fantastic vids! :D
