Today I passed a SMART on the highway, and the driver looked a lot like Jaap ! So i, asked myself, i wonder what kind of cars you drive ?
I drive a Pontiac Venture 2003(boring !),... having a family of six, i don't have a choice to own a van, my wife own a Volks Jetta 2002.
10 years ago i used to commute by bus & metro, and during summer
i would travel the 25kms to work on my bike.

99 honda civic. I plan on driving it into the ground. So far with 119,000 miles, the most expensive repair cost I've had was $15 to fix the heat shield on the catalytic converter. I still consistantly get 35 miles per gallon (about 15 kilometers per liter) Very inexpensive car to operate

I don't drive a Smart.
I have had a dark blue Renault Megane Coupe for about 3 years now, and have driven 85000 km in it. I'm happy with it, and I might get a similar one next year when my car lease contract gets renewed.

2003 Ford Focus, four door sedan, pale greenish. It's the first car I've ever owned, and its working well so far... if you don't count the pothole I hit last month. It was more like a "potcanyon". $1500 in repairs (10% of the house downpayment I'm desperately saving for!). I'm trying to get the city to pay for the repairs... which isn't so much fun.

1988(!) Sprinter Trueno, It's called '92-Trueno' in Japan because the car's code is 'AE-92'.
And it's used when I bought it, and it records about 70000km.
Now, my car records about 170000(!)km, but he running vigorously now.
