i got a sugar glider today, very cool nocturnal marsupial
by themselves they usually range from 125 to 500 dollars.
i got mine from this nice lady who had a son my age for 60 bucks! including cage vitamins suppliments, pouches, etc.
very very very good deal
he is a 10-week old male in whihc i named Sidney(sid) aka sid vicious(yea im sure you saw that coming)
anyways he was really calm all today, mainly cuase it was his sleeping time eh. but now, its 12:30 AM and hes running all around ups and downs side to side all through the cage, and he sniffs me and stuff, hasnt bonded with me yet(which is normal , it should take about a week or two)
ow..he just bit me..
well anyways heres some bad pics, ill put better ones up whne i can..
enjoi oi oi!

Aren't these Australian? Are they legal to buy overseas?

Sidney from Australia! Suddenly his name suits him much better... although admittedly not spelled quite right in this case. But really, naming a cute cuddly little hamster-like thing after an immature self-destructive drug addict who killed himself (and probably Nancy too) at age 21?!
BTW, I'm sure it's legal to own, breed and sell these things as pets in North America. I did a little reading up since I'd never heard of them before.

I've seen them for sale at certain pet stores in the states, though for a high price. I recall when I was much younger, I was in a youth bowling league, and a kid much younger than me who had recently aquired one brought it in with him to bowl. He said it had cost $300.00 US and everytime he got on the approach to roll, he would put the pet inside his shirt where it held on for dear life. Not something I would have ever imagined was a good idea to do with a fragile creature like a sugar glider, but kids can be stupid.

For some reason I though Australia has all the marsupials bar a few exceptions. I can't remember off the top of my head.

ring ring ring ring ring ring ring banana phone...
ok well yeah the idol himself was an idiot but still mostly known over the rest becuase of his death..hopefully mine wont drive himself to such an early death(proportioned to a gliders life). or maybe i just wont get him a girlfriend..lol
on other hand it is legal the states with some exceptions (like california) where thay are not legal. you can only breed and sell with a liscense. and i got mine from a lady who got it from a breeder in the united states. they have been breeded many times over in the US, nd i know a few other people (not by me but in the US) that one one or more.
heres a couple more pictures..hes bad@$$
also, other than austrailia, i think they are from another country too, im jus not sure..

heyy everyone, today i got 4 more of these guys from a family that didnt pay any attention to them besides feeding. They actually had seven but my friend got 3 and i got the rest, which gives me 5 total..Mines a lot more disciplined and well than the others, and i cant put them in the same cage cause of sid being so territorial. In time they will ease up. Speaking of cage, we got the family's cage too, which is HUGE and in the shape of a mansion, its crazy. I got a recent photo of Sid and a photo with all five on me. Paid $150 for all four which is gggrrrrreat, about 30-35 buck each?
better head out i hear sid hissing at the newcomers!!
enjoi oi oi!
