I'm disappointed with it. It's hard to use to begin with and it ends up breaking before I can even start F2L.

10:28 w/ 298 moves [while distracted with other things]. I find it very difficult to use "drag to turn" simulators. So many mistakes due to clicking the wrong thing. Click to turn is so much simpler!

I got 2:17... my "real life" average is about 30... It's kinda hard to turn the cube around to look for things, and I kept dragging the middle layer by accident. It was around 150 moves I think...

Click on the cube as it scrambles, then you can hit caps lock and use R, U, F, L, B, D, M, E, S, X, Y, and Z to control it. Shift+type for counterclockwise. Still not great, but not as bad. I've done 52 seconds so far.

As I'm no twisty solver, I've not tried the Google puzzle.

But I tried Google to visit this forum. Had difficulty for several hours to access it, maybe due to the attention of Google for the 40th anniversary of the Rubik's cube?

(Sandy/moderator: are the stats extraordinary for today?)

I just did it; it took me 8:00. But a lot of that was experimenting trying to find a keyboard interface and failing, and then figuring out the drag interface.

I'll have to try again, now that I know the keyboard interface. Thanks, X-TownCuber.

MTA Wei-Hwa Huang posted instructions on how to solve it in 15 moves. (It's always the same scramble.)

I've never really used the keyboard before but I was able to do it in about 12 minutes on my first try. Does anyone know the 15 move solution in cube notation. I tried to translate but I must of erred somewhere.

Make sure the extra long arrows are 180 degree turns...

Or the keyboard equivalent:
shift L, S, LL, DD, R, shift B, U, R, shift D, shift L, shift R, shift F, DD, shift L, U

Perhaps there is a shortcut for 180 turns? At any rate, I think the max time is 11 seconds, because I can type that faster than the animations execute..

The keyboard controls are LsllddrBurDLRFddLu

I don't know how to do the double turns with the keyboard.

I beat my old time!

I gave up after a few minutes of frustration trying to click and drag.
I don't know if it was a bug, but I couldn't get anything to move in any obvious way. It did seem to follow my mouse (non-dragging) a very tiny bit.
A shame.

A shame.

The drag controls really are terrible. My coworkers insisted I solve it and it took me 12 minute because of the terrible non-intuitive dragging.

I'm spoiled by Gelatinbrain's interface.
