This thread's purpose is to see how many of you are lefties. I know I am, and I think rline, but I want to see how many of you guys are lefties. Also, someone tell me how to set up a poll so I can do that.

When making a new thread/topic, if you scroll down past the file attachment area, it will have an area to create a poll subject, answers and other options.

I assume you can edit this existing topic one and just add the poll portion.

Hope that helps! :)

Thanks! Now we've got this up and running! I believe 10% of the world's population consists of lefties, so this would be a good comparison.

I doubt you'll get enough (>200) votes to be that accurate with any statistical significance, though you should get something quite close.

My mother grew up in a very religious school (where nuns were still allowed to enforce punishment with rulers), and she was Left handed. Apparently having lefty scissors was not acceptable, nor was writing with your left hand. After time she was forced to be right handed. She is ambidextrous now, but leans more to using her right hand for most things, but when she's bored she changes the playing field by throwing a curve-ball into play by using her left hand to spice things up

I'm right handed, and fear what I may endure if I lost my ability to use it. (previous threads in "off topic" that I've made, may give more insight.)

Now... For all you lefties out there, do you use a mouse for your computers with your left, or right hand?
My reasoning is that since a lot of speed-solvers at competitions solve one-handed (or OH if that's preferred) with their non-dominant hand. So if they are right handed, they do OH solves with their left, and vise versa. But very rarely do I see a OH solve using their dominant hand. And what happens when an ambidextrous OH solve happens? Because I'd like to know if they solve 2 right handed, and 3 left handed or vise versa, or pattern etc. (Or a rip in the spacial fabric occurs and every one is doomed 8-) )

Most one handed activities I use my left hand for, though I used a mouse right handed back when I used a mouse.

The same goes for me. I was forced to write with the right hand.
Everything is done with the left hand, save writing. The same goes for the foot: balls are kicked with the left foot...
I am able to use several tools (screwdriver a.s.o.) with both hands expertly, but the mouse, the knife... are used exclusively with the left hand.
Even my painting with pencil colours is done exclusively with the left hand, although I write with the right hand.

I was born left handed but my parents switched me over when I started writing.

I do OH with my right hand, which is a bummer because I can't use my phone/write/eat and cube at the same time.
