I have a bit of an issue: I'm playing around with CorelDRAW and I'm trying to make a puzzle. Let's start with a photo:

Rectangle A must have a short-edge distance of 3 mm. Corel Works on a co-ordinate system. As you can see, I've placed some guidelines to denote the corners of the rectangle. Here's the facts:
Assume that the circle, which has a radius of 19.05 mm, is at the edge of the paper (it meets the bottom and left of the paper at 0mm, 0 mm)
The rectangle must be at a 45 degree angle to the paper (i.e. the hypotenuse of the triangle formed by the two guidelines and the end of the rectangle must be 3 mm)
The length of the rectangle (along the line drawn from the center to the edge of the circle) should be 6 mm
What co-ordinates should I use for the horizontal and vertical guidelines?
Part B: I need to know the amount that I need to remove BY ANGLE in order to have that Distance B equal to 3 mm (i.e. if I then rotate the circle, the edges of the cut-out bit will touch the corners of the rectangle)
Issue C is a Corel problem; I need to somehow remove only the one end of the rectangle, though I could always just use 3 straight lines instead of a full 3-point rectangle; the issue with that is that I'll need to know how to configure the circle as per the above).
The objective is, roughly, this (I've already sorted out the big arms and you can ignore the dimensions; I'm mainly concerned with the overall shape):
