It depends on the girl, and it depends on the cuber.

When I first met my current girlfriend, I walked into her room and there was a Rubik's cube on her desk. Suffice it to say, I was pretty thrilled.

The more well-rounded a person you are the more likely you'll be attractive to others. If there is one interest / trait that defines you then you're probably going to be less attractive.

If the statement "I am a <fill in the blank>." describes you better than "I like <fill in the blank> but I also like <long list of other fun stuff>." then you'll probably have trouble with relationships.

While it's true that statistically men are much more likely to have hobbies related to cubing / puzzles / math, it's a myth that women don't like those things.

Although, "I am a <rich, powerful, celebrity sex symbol>" usually goes down quite well with most girls - more so than "I like <puzzles>, but I also like <mathematics, computing, strategy, chess, statistical modeling, etc., etc.>". Or so I am told.

Nah, ALL girls hate puzzles. If you tell her you're a puzzler, you've blown it before you started.

Because a girl is already a puzzle. Boys need time to be figure them out.

That is true. Girls are like puzzles. At least I can solve a twisty puzzle.

Has anyone got any gaffer tape? I tried to unwrap her and put her in one of my puzzle cupboards but the noise was terrible! I need to seal the noisy orifice and close the laser burning eyes before she does me some serious damage!!

Actually she has reason to do me some damage as I have had quite a lot of puzzle deliveries over the last few weeks! The postman is so intrigued that we actually invited him into the house to have a look at the now seriously large collection!

Finally found time to post in this thread. I had a girlfriend and she loved that I could solve puzzles! She always calls me "adorkable"

Women are definitely a puzzle - I've mostly figured them out except for that dang parity.

Ha ha, Early morning greetings between me and other people at work has literally gone down to "ugh". Meaning-
