Goodness yes! She did that one in around 26 minutes give or take. Beat mom too. I got sidetracked by this guy dressed up like a monkey

This last Sunday we did a 5k hike/run. All entry money goes to a local charity but they didn't ask for further donations. The Action Asia races are pretty frequent so I am guessing that is why.
This one took around an hour to finish, and yet again she beat mom. Dad too! (Actually, I was her pacer throughout the run)

Needless to say, I'm pretty proud of her. The banana run was freezing....8c when we started. I had gloves and a neck wrap on most of the run. The Action Asia was 28.1c when I logged in at the end of the race. From one extreme to another. (And no, she's not running the 10k with me this weekend...I want to attempt to get a better time than the last one I did and with a bug along we might not finish before they open the course to the public again.)
And I am so sorry for not getting back to this post. Your donations were greatly appreciated. She raised HK$900 in the end! If it's of no objection to anyone here, I'll post the next one she does in the summer. That one is either for breast cancer or leukemia, I can't remember which. (I'm running in Toronto in a 5k for one and she and I are running in HK for the other) Both are for a good cause at any rate....
