I just wondered if anyone else used this software. I had been using it for a while then suddenly my AVG flags up a trojan on both my laptops within the software. I can only assume this is due to an AVG update. I know some software can trigger virus alarms but has anyone else experienced this with AHK BBCodeWriter?
After doing some searching I found this mention of a false positive- http://forum.wintricks.it/showthread.php?t=130214 but it's always good to get a second opinion.

AutoHotKey is known for triggering false positives so I wouldn't worry about it.

The program is open source and that source looks completely clean. You could always compile it yourself to be 100% certain.

It allows you to construct forum posts off line and store them. It's great for those big posts with loads of pictures and links which can't always be compiled in one go.

Oh. I'm a nerd. I've got basic BBCode memorized, and custom things from websites in my head, too.

That's what I get for my first formal programming class in highschool being "Write the program in notepad, compile it with command prompt". :D
