Well I for some reason really like [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH2-TGUlwu4] nyan cat[url]
If you don't know what that is shame on you.
...but anyways Im going to make a Rubik cube version (already have the idea as mah avatar lol), where the cube actually moves in the background.
Anyone have any animation tips? I'm still new to this

Animated Gif rubik's nyan cat shouldn't be hard. Find an animated nyan cat, and find a software that will split the frames. Then just edit each frame, and stack it up and animate it!

I have an idea: at the end of the animation, put a scrambled V-Cube 7 at the right edge and move it at the same speed and direction as the BG fireworks. When the cat and V-Cube 7 collide, the V-Cube will suddenly become solved Then have an abrupt cut to credits/end/whatever.
