On the 16th of May I decided that I should re-open my holes. Two of them had closed completely so I had to get them repierced.


Pretty ha? Those are all gold posts (and yes, the diamonds are real) so it's not a cheap thing I have there-nickle causes huge problems for me.

Well I was rinsing them with peroxide like you are supposed to and had no problems. Then about 2 weeks ago, the top two became infected. Yuck! So I added alcohol to the wash mix and forgot about it. Within 2 weeks, the bottom 3 had puss coming out-and they weren't repierced. Strangely enough, my right side is now infected as well, and I didn't do any repiercings over there. Maybe I changed them too early????

Yesterday I woke up with a very very sore throat, couldn't swallow or hardly talk so off to the dr. I could see the swelling in my neck! A shot of antibiotics, and a long dose of them over the next week will hopefully see me better once again. I have to go in daily for a shot in the bum or stay in hospital. Apparently this infection has gone into my blood according to that dr. and the blood tests. The red streaks on my arms and legs kind of told him I managed to get a bit of Sepsis. (lovely and it better damned well be gone by the time I go on holiday)

So I''m thinking, what happened? Then I remember: that girl pierced them with no gloves-so why no problems early on? No idea. At any rate, the pain is really intense, and because of drug allergies, I get to take happy pills once again.

Why post? I know there was a posting a while back about piercings or gauges or something along those lines. I want to warn you all to make sure if you do pierce things to keep them clean. This shot a day for a week, vomiting because the antibiotics don't agree with me, and the constant pain that keeps me in tears is no fun.

And just to add insult to injury-all the earrings had to come out, so I'm fairly certain those two holes will close again and I'll have to go through the whole mess all over again.

When you did all over again were they wearing gloves this time?

Ha ha ha. Can't swallow-so can't eat. Body aches can't sit can't lie. And my bloody ears are flaming. Last temp was over 101.
And worst of all-I was snoring last night.

My bum hurts. I have a hair where there shouldnt be one. Keke is farting again and I can't read for more than 10 minutes without falling asleep.

Keke farts when he's fed broccoli, my body aches and I keep having to rotate so I'm not on the same spot for long-my hips are heavily bruised already. And no way in hades am I mentioning that hair again..

Sorry to hear of your miseries... I got two surgical steel 14G horseshoes (with balls) in my ear lobes - no complications. Never pierced trough the cartilage before. You need to have it done somewhere where they use sterile equipment. Hope you get to feeling better...

I have no tatts or piercings, and after reading this, I have no intention of getting any!
