As an on and off Pokemon Card collector, I was intrigued by the new McDonald's promotion toys. The toys I couldn't care less about, but the twelve pokemon cards caught my interest.
I currently have 10/12 of them from making my friends hand them over upon purchasing Happy Meals. Is anyone else collecting these or attempting to get the twelve currently out?
A list for those interested (What I have in bold)
Snivy Maractus Tepig Oshawott Alomomola Blitzle Munna Sandile Zorua Klink Pidove Audino

I collected the original 151, but that was it, after they started making more I just tuned them out. Still interesting to see that they are making more though! Good luck getting the other four!

Chris Thanks. Only two left now. But the last two are being a real pain. A lot of my friends are only interested in the original sets as well. Collecting those is a real pain now though. The best bet is just to buy a complete early set on ebay. They usually go for ~$15.00 for the earliest ones. You buy collections in bulk usually.

I still haven't really played any of the games other than red/blue/yellow. D:
Satoshi passed fairly recently, didn't he?

I have a box full of old cards that I've been waiting for the right time to sell - including a complete first edition team rocket set... No first edition originals, but a pretty decent collection nonetheless...

We don't have the Pokemon here. It's my little pony and superman (or some other super hero) right now. If they come, I'll be sure to save you whatever cards it is we get. (lots of McD's lunches when Miss N. forgets to make mine)
Ah, and before I forget, what was that Japanese Pokemon thing I sent you? Since I didn't even take it out of the bubble wrap......

If I post pictures, could one of you tell me if they're original? I have never cared enough to find out, but I hear they may be worth something

Yeah, I could tell you if they were from the original run of 151 pokemon or not, or you could search their names online and see.

I have a binder full of Pokemon cards. And unlike every other 12-year-old, I still actively collect them Seriously, kids my age sell as many Pokemon cards as possible. It's like Pokemon is awkward-tweenager poison. I could probably get a box of 1000 cards for $20 from some kid, then sell the really rare ones.
