Each box I have has probably 4 labels on it. Yours?

I have a set of used boxes of various sizes in the house, so I reuse them at least once. However before shipping I strip them of old labels and old scotch tape. All in all, I don't recall the last time I had to buy a box to ship puzzles.

I think is is great seeing some of the history of boxes. You can see by some of the labels covered or only partially removed sometimes.
I reuse whenever I can, and sometimes mention to the buyer where the box came from.

I'm about to ship out 5 packages. All 5 of those boxes have been used before. 2 started from Meffert's here in HK and were shipped both to the US and the UK before making their way back to me in HK. Another came from somewhere in MD and is heading out to Spain if I'm not mistaken. Still another is coming from California and will soon be on its way to Indiana.

Boxes are never thrown out in this house. They are always passed on to someone else.

I always reuse boxes. In fact, I don't think I ever sent out an unused one.

As long as the box is ok i will reuse it, although i try to remove or cover all other labels when shipping to America as i'm afraid they may cause problems (with all the security restrictions in place) although i do like looking at the history of boxes when i get them myself and thinking..."i'd love to go there"

I alwasy reuse shapeways boxes, but the thing is sometimes the shipping sticker is so hard to remove, i just scrap out my adress and those informations

I just write the information on printer paper, cut it to the dimension of the old box, and tape it down. People that get packages from me get boxes with all of the faces covered by white paper. It's easier just to cover the stuff that way than it is to try and get all of the old labels and such off.
