I've been a car fanatic since I was a little boy because of my grandfather. So you have to imagine it was a pretty big deal for me when I got my first car back in November. I worked hard to get it and this is the thread to show off your first car and also your best cars you have now! Please show specs, mods, and dyno results if you wish. I'll come back to you when I have my Bugatti Veyron in the next 15 years This is my baby, my 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix. The only thing that I have done to it so far is put Halogen Lamps in it. It does have pretty nifty remote start though Planned Mods: K&N Cold Air Intake 5% Black tint(Yes I know it's not legal.) Inferno Air Ram Hood As seen here: http://www.pfyc.com/GP1901.htmlHalo Projectors Possibly a supercharger but we'll see! I saved up for two years for this car and no it was not handed to me I'm looking forward to seeing your cars! Chris Hemerich

My first car (and current car) is a green 1999 Honda Civic Sedan. Probably not worth showing, especially since it's all full of dents and spots and bird crap and has about 240,000 miles (386,000 km) on it.

Too lazy to post pictures. I have a 2001 Dodge Intrepid The front is a bit crunched up from the previous owner. And it smells a bit. Resale vaule? $1500 BUT the important thing is that it gets me from point A to point B.

You guys can have your cars.. This is what I now ride to work (but not how I ride to work ). It has indicators now. I am the silver No 12 in the pics, they are both racing shots. Cheers, Burgo. PS Any other temporary road users?

Why are you the only one with a pillion passenger? My first "car" was a bike as well. A Honda 250n Superdream, like this one:

They are also amazingly consistent - every one I know of has driven perfectly well without any problems for exactly 120,000 miles ... and then burst into flames at exactly 120,001 miles. Oh, erm, you might want to watch out for that ...

No wonder I was so slow I had a Honda CB250 for a work bike when I was a kid, brings back memories, ours wasn't so shiny. The boss used to get cranky when we valve bounced it going down the street . Nice to see another bike rider. Stay Upright . Cheers, Burgo.

Sadly, it got wrecked in fall 2010. I barely had it four months. I turned left at a stop sign without double-checking the traffic; driver's side impact. Busted my head on the frame of the convertible rooftop; crawled out through the passenger side door; and had to get 5 staples in my head. No internal injuries, thank heavens! At the time of the accident I was so upset that I had wrecked my "Pony" I didn't even realize my head was bleeding until I looked in the rear-view mirror! Insurance company totaled it, and I took the following photo a week later when I visited the police impound yard to collect my belongings from inside the car. The top was originally up during the crash. Attachment:

I still miss my pony even to this day, especially the late-night joy rides through the countryside with my fiance, top down, with the stars, wind, and no roof over our heads. The vanity plate still hangs on my bedroom wall above the door. I am now driving an '07 Dodge Caliber SXT, a hatchback twice as big as the Mustang with an Engine half it's size (4 cylinder 2.0L, CVT). Big enough to haul all of my college junk, and it gets slightly better same fuel economy as well.

Hey man, its pointless living with regrets, there could of been an accident after stopping at the gas station just as easily as anywhere else. Just use the world as a perspective instead of your own life and you will realize how little it really matters. As for me, I don't have a car yet But I will be driving my family's 15-passenger van as soon as I turn 16 (2 months)

My first car was a light green 2006 Volkswagen Beetle. Nice, fun to drive, but the interior had a few flaws (the sun visor was completely useless). The only things that quite remain of it are a few photos that I snapped while having fun with a new camera: Attachment:
punchbuggy1.jpg [ 42.21 KiB | Viewed 1370 times ]
A mistimed left turn across 3 lanes of traffic changed it from looking like a punchbuggy to looking like a punched-buggy (my sister was driving at the time [we share the vehicle][she was fine]). The complete album of photos can be found here. Unfortunately, none show the car in its entirety (I will hunt down some pics tonight, if any exist). Now, we have a darker blue Volkswagen Beetle (forget the year) with a neat spoiler on the back
