Does anyone know the average price for the Inversion puzzle?

http://twistypuzzles.com/cgi-bin/puzzle.cgi?pid=1126

I have one already, but found a few in a mall toy store and was wondering if it was worth picking them up.

Is this an item anyone is looking for? I didn't see it in the price database, and haven't seen one on ebay...

I've never even seen that puzzle before, looks kinda interesting though. I'd pick up like 3 or 4 if the price isn't too bad, because i'm sure some collectors here might want some.

I have one of these... I picked it up a long time ago. I don't remember how much I paid for, but it wasn't expensive at all. I believe these are mass produced, but I don't know how well these have sold, so they may or may not be rare. There was a whole bunch of different ones like these (colors, dimensions - 2x2x2 or 3x3x3, etc).

There's no twisting involved. But more of sliding the pieces around so that the colors become inverted... So say there's two colors - red and blue. The current color is red, so you have to slide all the pieces around to make the cube blue on the outside.

Blogan, thanks for the thread link. GamesbyJames.com seems to have the best price at $7.99.

Thanks, looks like it isn't worth picking them up at the $13 mall price.

Looking at the picture in the database it looks like the pieces in the corners are smaller than the pieces on the edges.
Is this a mirage? (I know it is a misuse of that word, but you get what I mean...)

All of the pieces are the same size. Thanks for bringing this puzzle up again. I bought one a while back and forgot all about it. I should really try to solve it one of these days.
