Up for auction is an East Germany Stern with original box. The 2x2x2 parts are all there, just one round edged quadrant slider is broken. Perhaps a challenge for one of the very professionnal builders here.
These 2x2x2 puzzles are rather rare nowadays. I got this one in an auction earlier this year and it was already broken when I took it out of its box.
I will never be able to assemble such a cube, even if it doesn't have broken parts :D .
If someone from this forum who lives outside Europe is really interested in this auction, please send me an email and I will change the send-to options in ebay. I have not offered this option from the beginning, as postage will be about 9 Euro outside Europe.

Doesn't look like the Eastsheen mechanism but like the Rubik's Mechanism. However, it should be easy to just glue the broken part, no? There are good glues especially for plastic. I like this one:

Stefan, you are right; it is a Rubik mechanism :?
I have very good glue at home, but even with all the pieces intact, I wouldn't manage to restore the puzzle. I have another broken Figurenmatch in a plastic bag waiting its turn to move to another home.

If it's the same size as a Rubik's 2x2x2, I can send you another edge. It looks more like Pyramorphix size, of which I also have an extra edge.

If you can take a picture of a good edge next to a ruler, I might be able to help you.

If not, I'm very interested in trying to fix it myself.

Mike, send me an email with your address and I'll send you the pieces as a gift. It's an East German Figurenmatch.
PS: what about baby face  ?

Well, $49,33 is a lot more than I expected. Thanks for bidding.

I got it more for the original box than the actual puzzle. Hopefully I can fix it.
