Just a wild guess, but is this puzzle made up by some kind of siamese 2x2x2 that are extended, or am I just way off in my assumption...?

Is it possible for you to describe how the cubes are connected?

I am not prepared to say how they are joined together though from the pictures and video I am pretty sure you could work it out.

Look like this?

Black lines between two mean glued together.

I made this picture that displays my thoughts about how this puzzle is made.

Lets check if they are the same and if they are, I think we can consider it to be acurate, right?
Because I think that Tony won't tell us the truth...

I remember those patterns you made, very nice and explicit! ;)

And for some strange reason, Tony's Cubie Chaos, Mike's Evil Twin, and Rick's puzzle too, they all remind me a lot of Rubik's Maze.... please don't ask me why! LOL
