Do the strings come pre-assembled? Last time I tried doing it myself I wasn't able to get a good, solid connection. :?

Wow, this looks like a very good deal. Are the tiles the thick or thin ones?

you're right Tim; what about the quality of the strings doing them on our own ? What is the way to close the loop ? do we need a piece of glue inside ? If the Steel capillary need a tool to close it, what kind ?
Is the string a clear one, because I had a surprise recently receiving magics with white strings !! Are the steel pieces already cut at the right length or do we have to cut them? and how ? A lot of questions that need a small answer i think.
otherwise, scott is right, it seems to be a good deal.

First, this is more like a magic diy kit,you need to do it yourself.

some answer here:

1.The Magic tiles's size and thickness is same like the Original RUBIK'S

2.The string is a clear one.

3.The strings's Diameter is 0.4mm,and it is use for Fishing,so the strength and flexibility are all enough.

4.Steel capillary Internal diameter is 0.5MM

5.To diy a strings by Yourself, just 2 tools you need, the pincers and file, and don't need glue or another thing.

6.every piece Magic tiles include 45 cm strings and 1cm steel capillary means you can use Double the line bind just like Original RUBIK'S,Use 2 strings once.you have the Better strength

later,I will put some photo and Explain in this topic, show you how to diy the strings

4 step to diy a magic strings

step 1:

cut the strings to 45 cm and Steel capillary to 8-10mm

step 2:

Use the file fix Stainless steel's two head to neat

step 3:

Put strings's one head into the Steel capillary(3mm-4mm) ,then use pincers combines the capillary and the strings's together, same with the other head

step 4:

Use the Pincers's head pliers all Stainless steel again ,then you finish the strings.

In my opinion, every string needs to be of good quality, otherwise this will affect the entire mechanism of the built magic.

Having strings that are not assembled is no different than going to a fishing shop, getting some lines, cutting them down, and then using some small "weights/connectors" to close the loops.

In my case, I have been using fishing equipment for years, so it is not a big deal, but I am pretty sure many people cannot be expected to be familiar with this procedure and provide the required accuracy or quality.

But don't get me wrong, regarding the tiles, the deal *is* a good one, and I am considering it right now! ;)

This brings up one question: How strong is the hold on the strings? Because if the hold isn't strong, the strings will snap...

 And who that make the strings told me the strings can Accept At least 10 KGs to pull dint。

And One more thing, In my opinion,Because the strings has flexibility,I found a little short is better than a liettle longer,so you can try cut the strings to 44.5cm or maybe 44cm.

thanks for everyone to view my topic

You could also try 46 cm and glue a 1cm overlap. Haven't tried it myself yet (I do have a great plastic glue but no broken strings right now) but someone told me this works great.

I also tried once and failed,I think maybe is because of the contiguous area to be too small,Make gum Can't produce Glue resultant force enough
