I have now some puzzle duplicates for swap, but if you offer me a interesting price I also will sell the items. Please look at
http://www.puzzle-shop.de/special/special1.html or at my shop-site.
Some items were very rare, maybe it´s your first and last time to get them.

Now you can see the current status of bids. I think I wait until end of november before I make a decision.

Click on the link above in the first message. Some of the puzzles have bids on them others don't.

How long are you taking bids on these?? I don't get a check for a while but there are a few things I'm interested in maybe one or two I might be able to afford when I get more money.

I'm glad too see many of the bids went up. When I can't afford things I prefer to really not be able to afford them.

Hi, Hendrick,
Are the prices final now??? Are you using the "Lowest Price to Beat the Next Bidder" (as eBay), or the "Highest Bidding Price"???
For example, if a bid is $500 and the next highest bid is $300. On eBay, the winning price would be $300 + minimum increment. Since there is no "minimum increment" on your auction, I am assuming the winner has to pay $500 -- the maximum she/he is willing to pay?
This, actually make your auctions much more interesting, more strategies to think about.
Anyway, I believe I have won at least one item... when will the winners receive the final notice? ... and what if the winner did not pay? Will the item goes to the next bidder? Hopefully, I could get some more items from the none-paying bidders.
p.s. Too bad that you won't be able to place bad "feedbacks" on those none-paying bidders!!!

I think it was a special semi-public offer to twisty puzzle fans, I highly doubt there'll be non-paying bidders unless someone dies, and then feedback of any kind doesn't matter much anymore
Cheers!

Stefan,
That's a great comment!!! LOL!!!
Hopefully there will be no non-paying bidders here.
However, I was just wanted to know how would Hendrick handle it, "IF" there were non-paying bidders.

Ahh!! So you are the one that outbid me on everything I bid on
I bid $5 on several of the ones that had no bids on them before the last couple days. Of course I got beat on all of these on the last day. The only one that I am dissapointed in was the Dino Cube with Dinosaurs. This is the 4th time I have been outbid on this puzzle. Although 500 Euro or $585 is the highest I have seen one of these go for. If someone has one with the box and wants to sell, let me know.

Isn't he just selling 1 item/puzzle because that is what I read in the last sentence in the link above or am I reading this wrong. I'm sorry if I did read it wrong Hendrik Haak.

He does say, "I will decide on Monday which item I will sell." I hope he meant to say "items". I think he planned on trading or selling all of the items that were on the special offer page. The decision he probably is trying to make is if the high bid is equal to or greater than what he values the puzzle to be worth.

Dear puzzle friends, thank you for your offers for the special items. I think most of the items were sold like shown. But I need some more days to work out the final information because I have another urgent project this week. Please be patient, I come back to all people which have maked the highest bids.

I thought I had the highest bids on 7 items... However, none of those meet Hendrik's reserve price!!! It ended up that I have won ZERO items!!! I am so sad ... and a little upset!!! Of course, Hendrik has all the rights not to sell his items. After all, it's his personal auctions. He set the rules.
Anyway, eBay is a much better place for auction, the rules are more clear and fair... and best of all, if I am not happy, I can place negative feedbacks... although I have not had chance to do that yet. LOL!!!

Good to know that I am not the only person who could not meet Hendrik's reserve prices... I was wondering... why none of my highest bids meeting Hendrik's reserve price... could it be that I mis-spelled his name in my previous posts... now, I am positive that it was not the cause. LOL!!!
Same thing had heppened to me. During the "waiting period", I missed a "Zodiac Magic Ball" on eBay... because I thought I won one from Hendrik. The highest bid shown on Hendrik's site is my bid... it was higher than the eBay's close price ... however, it still couldn't meet Hendrik's reserve!!!
If Hendrik is so precious about those puzzles why he put out the auctions???!!! Or, were we too cheap!!!

Well, people who are into puzzles tend to value them much more. So I completely understand why Hendrik would sell them in a higher price.
I know I would do exactly the same thing if I was him!!!
As for the puzzles we are looking for, I am sure we will find them sooner or later again!
And by the way PuzzleManiac, you are a really tough bidder!
I hope I can avoid all the auctions you are involved in, because I know I will end up losing LOL
Peter

I ended up getting 3 out of 6 winning bids. Of course, the other 3 and some others that I got outbid on where the ones I really wanted. Oh well, maybe next year.

Peter,
Thank you for the "complement" --"a really tough bidder"???!!! Well, I am not that good, however, I do hire the "pro" to "snipe" the auctions for me!!! It works really well.
Tell you a good news, I have recently bought 2 custom cubes from Tony Fisher.... so, I am running low on my "cash reserve" and I won't be able to place high bids for a while. It's time to beat me on eBay!!!

I won two Tony's cubes recently:
Truncated Octahedron (# 6013180407)
Rhombic Dodecahedron (# 6018414693)
I also had the highest bid of $161 on Tony's 2x3x4 Cube at Hendrik's auctions. It's, of course, lower than Hendrik's reserve price. Too bad!!!
