I know, I know it's one of the rarest/hardest to find puzzles. My endless search for it resulted in nothing. So I would like to know if it's still sold/auctioned on Ebay or someone have one for trade/sale.

Thanks for your replies in advance.

Sorry but I don't have one to trade but they do come on ebay every now and then but not very often. They're also pricey.

does anyone have photos of the mechanism in parts?

When I first saw one a while back online, I immediately became curious if it was possible to make one out of paper parts.

David, you could look it up in the patent. It would give you a pretty good impression of the mechanism. It is very simple indeed, and I imagine it can easily be made out of thin sheets of plastic glued together.

Anyhow, you got me curious. 8-) The outer moving sectors of the Roundy can be taken off the puzzle very easily. I just did that. The rest of the puzzle appears to be glued shut. Which is not, as I managed to split the pieces cleanly with a tool knife. I will try to continue with that - slowly, so that not to break anything, and we'll see about that in a little while. I'll post more when I get there.

Well, it IS glued shut down there. So, no luck this time, sorry.

On a side note, I received my Dino Cube this week, and disassembled it. :P But to to the single piece apart, as they're glued hard there.

Can you take some photos of the parts you were able to separate? I'm curious too :)

I got one with chocolate advertisements on it.... unfortunately it is very old and the colors are fading...

I *could* get some nice pictures of it, only if you guys want! It's quite cute, but I wouldn't say very exciting puzzle as it is easy to solve.
