Have you ever thought of selling some autographed puzzles since you are the world record holder in some categories? It could be a collector's item.

Haha, no, haven't thought about that . First of all, I have an ugly signature. Also, I can lose my records any time. But most importantly, I think it would be a bit arrogant. I do mention my records on my AboutMe page because I want to let bidders know that I'm really serious about these puzzles, but I don't think I'd go further than that...

Unfortunately, the 20 second solve is not included in the cube
I really would like to know what a good speedcubers speedcube feels like...
Does that cube have flat centers?
How do you avoid poping? Without arched centers, I pop a lot

Yes, arched centers can help Adjusting the screws to have good tension is another way. Lubricating helps, too. Having a nice twisting style might also be a good idea

Next round, but I'm too lazy to link-list them all here, so just have a look there:
http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZstefanQ5fpochmann
Highlights this time I'd say are:
- politoys/politechnika cube
- extended 3x3x3
- 3-puzzles-magic
- speed calendar cube
- rubik's computer mouse
12 auctions are running, 6 more shall follow soon. And in case you notice the insurance option for some but not all: that's because at first I forgot it and later I couldn't add it anymore because people had already bid (pretty stupid that ebay doesn't let me add an option, but that's life).

Stefan,
I may be mistaken, but you may be the first to have thought of "using" U.K. eBay
instead of your own country eBay, ...and we all know that UK auctions ending prices can and often exceed US and German eBay auctions.
I wouldn't be surprised if your auctions get out of hand, anyway i hope you make a bundle on that transparent Rubik's Magic !!!! (hehehe)
Congrats for your descriptions and pictures they are very good !

Yes, UK is a strange place . Sometimes they bid very high, other times very low. I'm just giving it a try and will see where I end up. But no, I think I'm by far not the first to sell in ebay UK or USA without living there.
The transparent magics are long gone, btw. They were in my first round of auctions. I'm just using this thread for all my auctions cause I don't want to clutter the forum up with lots of separate threads and I also like it as a history/overview. Hmm... on the other hand, if I don't list all auctions explicitly here anymore, it doesn't serve well as a history. Will think about it. Maybe I'll write a program to extract the link-list from the ebay list page.

I have just added a Pentangle Magic Cube (remember the last one? )
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 6007132285
It's in very good condition (have a look at the video...) and comes with its box.
The remaining missing auctions and maybe some more shall follow Saturday, right now I don't have enough time.

P.S. If you win something before the world champs and come to the
world champs then I can bring it with me to save shipping costs.

Uh... forgot to say that for this you need to tell me soon after the auction ends (or beforehand). I'll leave home Friday around 11am German time, will check mails again before I go.
Started some new auctions today, btw.

I submitted a few more auctions, they'll start this Saturday evening. There's some stuff for the collectors and some stuff for the speedsolvers. If you're interested, here's a group picture with my auctions that end this Saturday and the next:
http://www.stefan-pochmann.de/foo/ebay_2005_11_19.jpg
And here's the ebay list of them (I hope the new ones will simply pop up later today...)

Cheers!
Stefan
P.S. Ebay scheduling sucks. Not only don't they let me start in the past or simply choose an end time, no, the scheduling is only possible in 15 minutes steps, argh! I hope I won't need it again, this time I do cause I'll be in Budapest for the weekend

Started a few new auctions, overview picture is here: http://stefan-pochmann.de/foo/ebay_2005_12_03.jpg
And the ebay list: http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZstefanQ5fpochmann
- Rubik's Mice/Cartoon Magic set (all four)
- Okki
- Figurenmatch
- 2 Rubik's Studio cubes
- 3 towers (marbles/tiles)
- 3 books
- sealed clock
Some more are on the picture and almost ready, will start them soon, I was just too busy this week and new auctions always take me ages...
- special OLD 3x3 speedcube, probably Pentangle / Politechnika
- German Skewb
- old 2x2 pocket cube
Please note: I'd like this thread to be somewhat of a clean "announcement thread", so if you have questions or comments I'd prefer if you could write me a private message. If it's not only interesting for you but for others as well, then I can still write a short post about it. Thanks.
