I have a spare Rainbow Masterball, but it is very temperamental. It requires more careful lining up than usual. Can anyone help me dismantle it for adjustment? Years ago I assembled a loose one, but I've never tried the other way round. I'd also exchange it 'as is' for something else.

There's an easy "trick" how to twist it, and also how to align it. Hold one of the two bigger "rings" around the ball. Hold it tight! Then twist the other three rings, grabbing them only slightly. You can easily feel when they're aligned. Then align the ring you've held tight. When you play with it, always hold the ring you're twisting only slightly, and the rest (especially the (other) big ring) tight. Does that help?

Sandy, belated thanks for your reply. It helped, but it still is not very usable. I'd still like to dismantle it and reassemble it.
