For everyone out there who is having problems with getting stickers, i have found a solution! i dug deep into my pockets and sucked it up and bought a sticker plotter. i am currently measuring sticker sizes for multiple different puzzles. the most common puzzles will be
3x3x3
4x4x4
5x5x5
Alexander Star
Megaminx
Though i can make any size and any shape and almost any color or any puzzle stickers!

I will be selling them to anyone who wants to buy them. currently i will be setting the price at $5 for 5 sets of 3x3x3 stickers (these are the most common) shipping included in the price to US. across seas there will be postage to send them (probably$1). Every other set will be $1 - $3 depending on the puzzle (4x4x4, Alexander star, megaminx). if you are interested please either email me, PM me or just send me the money with a note of what you want and how many. here is my address

Adam Zamora
9025 Gemini Ave
San Diego, CA 92126

currently i only have 6 different colors but am going to get 12 colors so we have capabilities of doing more things. also if anyone wants stickers of some sort like words or anything else i should probably be able to make them as well.

if you want stickers for another puzzle please let me know and i will see if i can get the dimensions for the stickers and make the stickers. i am hoping this will help everyone out and that we all can have the stickers without having to locate a shop that will do them for us.

Hey Adam,

What machine did you buy? I've looked into vinyl cutters in the past but they've been rather pricey. What adhesive vinyl media did you buy also?....

It might be neat to try to print on the vinyl and then cut it to make some supergroup cubes too!

PS the blind man's pieces are still in the queue... I'm prolly gonna try someone else, this guy is taking way to long for me...

So do you have sheets of vinyl or sheets of stickers? Can you post a color sample of the sheets?

Thanks.

WOW what can I say! I just got a set of 3x3x3 stickers from Adam today...I put them on a cube and they are simply awesome. the vinyl is thick, so it feels nice and sturdy yet slick at the same time. they are of excellent quality and I would highly recommend them! I am ordering a set of 4x4x4, 5x5x5, and 12 color minx stickers now too! just thought I'd give you all the heads up.

Any chance of stickers for the Square-1, too? I have a lot of trouble with the standard paper stickers, and the colour schemes on the vinyl-stickered Czech Cube-21 are quite peculiar. There are 3 different kinds of face, so I guess that Square-1 might be tedious to set up...

Is there anything that is between 8" and 12" wide that you would need to cut? Because you could have saved almost $100 by only getting the 8" wide cutter. http://specialdelivery.bizhosting.com/sx_8_vinyl_cutter.html

Hi Adam,

Can you make a set or two for the 3x3x3 with a lighter green? Or is it that you don't have a say in the shade of the colors.

TIA,

David J

This is for everyone. Here are the prices and the stickers that i can make.

$1 - 2x2x2
$1 - 3x3x3
$1 - 4x4x4
$1 - 5x5x5
$2 - Alexander Star
$2 - 2x2x2 Maze Cube
$2 - 3x3x3 Maze Cube
$3 - Square 1
$3 - 6 color Megaminx
$4 - 12 color Megaminx
$4 - Calendar cube

I have been very busy so if it takes me a week to respond im sorry. but ask anyone who got stickers they are very happy with them.

Okay now to answer the questions.

David J

yes i can get lighter green but the cost will go up because i have to get a roll of lighter green that i may never use again.

insanity_cubed

i chose the 12 inch over the 8 inch because its hard to find the 8 inch vinyl and easier to get the 12 inch. i think with the 8 inch i have a choice of 4-6 colors vs 60 or so colors with the 12 inch

Mike G

yes i do have square 1 sticker sets see price list

Just to put my two cents in. I am extremely happy with the calendar cube stickers. The cube looks incredible.

Yeah, I'm a very happy customer too.

Adam: Are the 2x2x2 stickers for the Rubiks.com version only or do you make Mefferts too?

That's not fair. Here in Germany the same Plotter costs about $ 830 and that's the cheapest I found
Now getting the idea to purchase in US... I would have to pay customs, VAT and who knows what else. Not talking about warranty...

I'll go back to bed and cry a bit

Why not just order your stickers from Adam? I'm sure he'd be happy to help you out with whatever you need.

Hi Adam,

How many sets would come out of that lighter green roll?
I was thinking of ordering
4 - 2x2x2
9 - 3x3x3
4 - 4x4x4
3 - 5x5x5

For a total of $20. Would that do, or is the roll larger than that?

I don't know why others wouldn't order that lighter green because you can solve the cube a half an hour longer after sunset using the lighter green than you can using the darker green.

?!?! This struck me as rather odd. Do you do a lot of outdoor cubing?

I'd also like a brighter green... I already got some stickers for various puzzles from Adam, so for now I'd be happy just buying bright green stickers only, to use them instead of the dark greens I already got. But I might as well buy some new sets (also with brighter green) for several large cubes.

That was the best shorthand approximation of the light level. I do sometimes sit on my porch and cube. When the amount of light diminishes, the blue and green on regular Rubik's cubes become nearly indistinguishable, and I can sit a half hour longer playing with a Deluxe, before turning on a light.

About green again... I took a picture to compare. The Eastsheen 4x4, Rubik's game cube, Rubik's 80's cube and Meffert's assembly cube are original (i.e. not modified).

The X-stickers of the new Rubik's cube in the middle are original, too, but the four darker are from Adam. Looks like he tried to copy the old 80's color, but I'd like any of the others much better I think. The other five colors are perfect, especially I like red/orange much better than on new Rubik's cubes.

Adam, how would a brighther green you could get look like (compare to the colors in my picture maybe)? And I think there's much interest in a brighter green. I myself would like a brighter green for the eight sets I got from you already and I might want to get some more complete sets for some larger cubes (mostly Eastsheen 4x4's and 5x5's).

I called Adam's house twice and left messages on their machine with no reply, I also called the work number he posted in the who's who thread and they told me he no longer works there and they gave no further information.
I wish I knew where he is, I knew him personally from the few competitions we both competed at and consider him a friend. Hopefully he just up and joined the service or something like that since he was a major contributer here and he left without even a goodbye.

Check his last couple of posts everybody and see if they seem sporadic and hurried compared with how he usually posted.

If anyone has any info please share it with me because I've been worrying about him since he disappeared.

Has anyone heard from Adam? He hasn't posted this year. I went back and read his "who's who" and searched his ebay id.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7512421404

He won an auction on May 1st. Has anyone heard from him recently?

I've left messages on their machine with no response. I also called the work number he left in the who's who thread and they said he doesn't work there anymore.

I'll be in San Diego later this year, maybe I'll stop by his house and see what's up.
