I am looking for a genuine Rubik's branded keychain cube, 30mm in size. Must be new or near new condition. Must also be of the "solid" pieces variety. Will to trade from a large variety of puzzles, some new in box. PM me if you have what one.
If you don't know the difference, the newest keychains sold at rubiks.com are the hollow variety, where the corner cubies are open on the inside like a box. In the "solid" variety the corner cubies are instead more solidly built, as though a circular hole was cut into the corner cube. You can see a picture of what a solid keychain looks like at Ton's website:

Just go to puzzle buiilding and click on his 2x2x3 for closeups of the puzzle pieces.
Please, genuine rubik's branded 30mm cubes only.

Jin H Kin did you ever find a solid one? I was about to buy one off of the rubiks.com site but luckily I read your post and found out the cubes arn't solid so I didn't buy one. Greg says he has them on his site but I see two different ones. Anyone know if either of these is a solid one?

I asked Greg a few days ago and he said the Rubik ones he has now are probably the hollow style and the other one is a cheaper copy and almost definitely hollow. I had hoped the other one was solid because of the weight=125g but I think there must be something wrong because an old solid one I own weighs about 30g.

If anyone is still interested I'm selling off all my keychain cubes. They are the more solid type. I put $5 for shipping on ebay which is probably too high but I'll refund the difference if anyone just wants one.
I'm also selling off all my extra promo cubes and pyraminx puzzles and some foam pads.
You can see it all here:

If all goes well there should be something new in cubeland before the end of the year. I'm not spilling the beans yet but it looks very promising.
