I wasn't exactly sure which forum to place this in but I decided to put it here. As being from the UK it is hard to find decent Puzzle Shops that have a variety of twisty puzzles with reasonable prices. I am a bit skeptical about Ebay and how legitimate the puzzles are? So my real question is where should I go to purchase my puzzles without having to wait two-three weeks for shipping

I have a small collection of Puzzles at the moment including:
3x3
Rubik's Ice Cube
2x2
Rubik's Clock
Dino Cube
Floppy Cube
Gigaminx
Rubik's 360
Pyraminx
7x7

I have no affiliation with them at all but my own experience with Puzl.co.uk has been superb.
They have a pretty good selection (although some of the names of the puzzles are incorrect) and postage has never taken longer than 48 hours for me (I live in Sheffield). Tony & Jas provide an exemplary service and communicate very well.

For a bigger selection then I have had great service from Calvin at HKNowstore but obviously the postage takes a while - for me it has usually been about 2 weeks.

Hope this helps.

I used Puzl to purchase my Pyraminx, Floppy Cube and Ice cube, however you dont see the variety with different brands such as LanLan, MF8 etc I live just outside London and they arrived within 48 hours which I was very pleased with. Are there any other UK puzzle shops you could reccomend?

I'm afraid I really don't know of any other places. I tend to buy quite a few at once and hope that they will last me long enough until the next large batch arrives.
I am currently waiting for another 6 on their way to me from Calvin - and 2 are the Crazy 3x3s which will allow me to surgically change them into any of the 8 crazy planet cubes. So effectively another 14 cubes!!
Oh yes - I also have 2 of the recently offered morpheggs coming!

Hopefully this will keep me busy for a few weeks until the Crazy pentahedrons are available!

Sorry, to say that, but local store, with a lot of twisty puzzles are very very very very...... rare. :? . And shop with shipping under 2 weeks, is possible, but the price of the shipping will be a lot more, for nothing  ? And 2 weeks is not that bad to wait haha  .

Haha, believe, where I live, puzzling is basically dead, (like last year it was), because of a friend that I meant at a competition, there is over 20 people that started puzzling (mostly speed cubing).

No, :? , not close tough  . In Canada, puzzling is so so, the mainstream is on some specific place, (like depends)

If only the there were more puzzlers within certain areas rather than dense in other places which restrict other people? :|

I think the Twisty Puzzles community probably wouldn't exist without the Internet. Youtube, this forum, and others have made it possible. Before the Internet communities like these were much smaller and mostly required occasional conferences / meetups.

Given that the Internet made a community like this possible and it's still a rather obscure hobby, it's no surprise that you have to turn to the Internet to buy the puzzles. I have no expectation of being able to go to some physical retail location and get a good selection.

Put another way, our community is small enough that if retail stores near everyone wherever they live bought 2-3 of every puzzle for their store, then there would be more puzzles in retail inventory than all of our collections combined.
