I love the coasters and the mug, but the handle would be better placed on the edge rather than the middle of a face. As it is, I think it would be tricky to drink out of without scolding yourself.

I think that that mug is awkward however you orient it. Lets face it, a cube isn't the most practical shape for a mug. Oh, and I think you meant scalding, unless your tea/coffee tells you off and criticises you. :lol:

I think that having the handle on the face is a better design than the one you suggest. Most people, whether right- or left-handed, sip at approximately a right angle to the handle. This places the person's mouth right on the edge of the sipping chamber.

I probably won't use mine for drinking much, but to display on my desk and hold miscellaneous small objects.
