I might be putting up a PINK ES-5 in unused condition, how much would you buy it for/trade for it?

EDIT: it is an eastsheen.

Is this the one you're selling? If so, I'd pay around $10.

No, so far as I know, it is not ES, and that is not the same one. It has a stand that says Yong Jun Magic Cube.

I would have to see a picture of it sealed in the packaging before I paid anything more than $10 for it. To my knowledge ES has never made colored cubes. I might be wrong, but I've seen so many of them over the years, and having attended the trade fairs, you would think if ES made a pink one or any other color for that mattere they would display it at the fairs. they never have. Now, the Yong Jun Magic cubes come in many different colors: pink, green, yellow, red, orange...And they are good reproductions (I use those word loosly) of the ES cubes.

I think your first posting of the brand was probably correct. Sorry to disappoint you.

Are Yong Jun cubes good or bad? I know it isn't common, so is it rare to find a 5x5 by Yong Jun?

It might be rare in the Stats, but here every "junk shop" sells them. "Junk shops" to me are like a Ben Franklin They sell a bit of everything. Are there still Ben Franklin stores?

You might get one for me when you happen to see one. Blue would even be better than pink -)

Any ideas of a general sell price? It could be ES, and it could be YJ, so give a quote for both if you can. Even if you weren't to be the buyer, Pink 5x5's aren't to common. I was thinking I may get 20-28 USD(retail, here probably 16-22 USD), but I have no basis but the black and white ones.

Oh, and I am young and have never heard of a Ben Franklin store, though Ben Franklin was a president and the man who harnessed the power of electricity. Of course the pres. part may be over looked by other countries, I am curious as to how few or many countries even teach of the electrical aspect. You being in China, may you answer this question?

I'm really baffled by this. In the American history I learned, Ben Franklin was never a President. Also I don't think he "harnessed" the power of electricity, just did experiments with it - I'd say Edison was one of the first people to really harness electricity.

I've never heard of Ben Franklin stores, but apparently they have a website, so I have now :)

LOL I totally missed the President part. Looks like schools are teaching things differently nowadays  He was an ambassador, maybe that is what you were thinking. Hmm, one of the first printting presses, Poor Richards almanak, and a couple of other things can be atributed to him, but never president.

Ben Franklin Stores were all over the Northern Part of the US when I was growing up. When Mom went to the bank she would give my sister and I a dollar to go spend in the BF. We usually bought penny candy, but sometimes we got stuffed toys or some such thing from there. I remember begging for a dollar of my own one year so I could buy a tower of babylon keychain. I was told I had to save my 50C and buy it next time. Next time they didn't have them

As far as Ben Franklin is concerned, I think people automatically assume he was president because of his great involvement in politics and because he is on the $100.

But getting back on topic, I'm sure I could find this puzzle fairly easily if I looked. Or as Roxanne has said, they are all over HK. So as others have said, I would pay no more than $10 for this.

Can we see pics, and maybe even a video? I've never seen a pink 5x5.

I may not even have it anymore, I was asking. And actually, Ben Franklin wasn't a President. Still was curious as to how many thought so. If no one can answer the qustion, I will just end the topic. I really just want to know How much you would pay for a pink ES 5x5. Nothing more, nothing less.

well being that I never saw3 one before, I would assume they are rare, and if it really is an eastsheen, then maybe around $20

I found an older picture of it:

As you can see, it has orange, not purple, and I never replaced the stickers myself. As far as I know(since I haven't found it yet) it has the standard BOY color scheme.

There is a Ben Franklin craft store not far from here but it is going out of business. I live in North Carolina.

Sorry to carry this even further off topic.

If you have a minimum amount you want to get for it, then when you list it on ebay either put that amount as the starting price or have a reserve on it.

There are a lot of people interesting in cubes that do not even know about this site.

I just snuck out of work for an hour and took a walk down the road. I found these cubes here. The stickers are redd/orange, green/blue, white/yellow. The cubes themselves come in pink, green, orange, yellow, and white. Sorry georges no blue. On average, the price is $10.
