I noticed recently there's this little pop-up window toward the bottom of the screen as I scroll further down that says it's loading the next page. Sometimes it's the next page of the thread, and sometimes it's the next thread.
It's clever, but I don't like it. Is there a way to turn this feature off?

Do you happen to have a FireFox add-on called Fasterfox?

Well, I have firefox 3.5.7 and it's compatible. I only installed it a few days ago (the plugin). The version of FastestFox is 3.1.2.

Hello Frank, We are clearly not talking about the same add-on! I said FasterFox, you said FastestFox. So yes, the latest version of FasterFox is not compatible with the latest version of Firefox. But, the latest version of FastestFox is compatible with the latest version of Firefox. Next time, we should ask Roxanne, she's the fox expert... Skarabajo.

It works by prefetching pages. Firefox has this built in to an extent.
