This isn't really a site suggestion, just a suggestion I'd like to make as there seems to be duplicates of a thread in the "New Puzzles" forum every time Oskar posts a new video on YouTube. My suggestion is that we have one member who posts a new topic when Oskar brings out a puzzle, as I find it silly at how many people post the same thread every time one comes out Just a thought, as it wouldn't clog up the forum every time I check it

Difficult to assign one person to post new puzzles (e.g., if they are away), and probably easier just to acknowledge the double post in either or both threads, then just one of them will likely stay at the top. But, people should just check current posts before they jump in with a new thread. Not sure it was worth creating another thread to suggest this.

While this could work, all it really takes to prevent this is to check a few of the previous posts.

Some tips: who ever posts it, name the subject line correctly. That will clue others in that the particular new puzzle has been posted.
Alternatively, Bram or Oskar can post these themselves.

Bram's a member, and I'm pretty sure Oskar's one, too.

Why not just have a single thread for people to post his puzzles in instead of making a new one every couple days?

Why can't people just use the "view active topics" function before making a topic?

I'd rather see a new thread for each puzzle. That way we know the comments are for that puzzle. Also, I like to skim the topics, and if I see something with a new name, I'll check it out. If there's one thread, people tend to get off-topic and/or rambling. I can certainly appreciate positive feedback about new puzzles, but I'd rather not have to open the same old thread to see if something new was posted instead of 3 pages of "Wow, that's amazing", "coolest puzzle evar!!!!", and "That's epic".
Just my two cents.

Although I don't mind 3 pages full of praise (You know, praise always comes in way to small amounts; a subjective thing) I agree with Frank.
