Hi Guys,

I've added a google search to the search section to help our somewhat crippled search a little bit.

If anyone is a bit of an expert with google search parameters and wants to suggest some improvements to it, please drop me a note or post here.

Since you have deleted the True/False thread, would it be wise to also discard other useless threads? Say a good ol' filtering of the forum?

Would this help in improving the 'search' function?

I suppose if the threads are large and contain the terms people are searching for regularly, it might be something to look at.

I'd be interested to see if people find this to be a problem.

We would need to check if any of the large offtopic threads are still wanted for some particular reason.

How about these? I know I had my blemish on those threads and wouldn't mind seeing them go.

They could certainly go if no-one has any objections, or sees some value to keeping them.

To be honest, I skip over the accomplishments thread every time.

I skip over it too. I'm guessing this causes there to be many results in the search engine for manufactured puzzles, making it harder to search, because everyone has their times in there.

I wouldn't mind if it died.

Maybe give the search function a time span option. Say within the week, month, year etc.

I'm not sure getting rid of the accomplishment thread would be such a good idea because then it would make ALOT of seperate topics. The accomplishments thread is good because you only have to ignore 1 thread instead of several.
