Does anyone out there have the puzzle known as a yot, and does anyone know how to solve it ??? Thanks.

Hi, well there is actually a yot and a yot 2, both
operate on similar principles. If you examine it
closely you will notice the knob opposite the coin, without giving too much away it has nothing
to do with the solution, except you could try and
balance the yot on it. If you still need help let me know and i'll spoil it for you.

Steve adler is such a teaser. Anyway hold the yot by the knob so that the coin is facing the ground. Now spin the yot as if it was a top that is missing the point. If you did it right, the knob can be pulled off the rest of the yot with the coin easy to get. Enjoy!

I told Kevin the solution in a private email so as not to ruin the puzzle for anyone else. Anyway the company that makes the Yot also makes a Yot 2. You can open the Yot 1 by spinning it either like a top or coin side down. With the Yot 2 it only works one way .The other product that they make is a 3d sculpture called "The Illusion of Vincent" that I think is very cool. They are at Yot.com
