My collection will never be complete until I have one of these.

IF you collect twisty puzzles I recommend that you don't get one, this is not a twisty puzzle. It is simon in a cube format. It is for people who gave up on the regular cube but want to look smart. And people named simon.

not actually game. Its a bunch off people that were sitting around a table and one says "what are we going to make?" Looks over at another person who isnt paying attention and is fidgeting with the cube and they ask him. "and what do you think we should make. And hes like "uhhh.... a cube?" "Thats is a good idea!" "all in for trashing a great name with a stupid piece of beeping and talking junk say I." "I!" shouts everyone. And the rest is history!
Also, i dont think copyright laws can do anything about the revolution, because first, it doesnt use the same core as a rubik's cube, the stickers are different, and there are button in the center. Plus, i only think rubiks has laws to the name Rubik's cube - Rubik's Ufo. They dont have copyright for revolution or Rubik

Where did the copyright thing come from? I think that it is just an attempt to take advantage of a hobby that is coming back in full swing.

Exactly! They see the cube is coming back into popularity full swing! The last 5 times i went to wal mart they were all out of the cube! They think since the normal cube is popular everything else that looks or "sounds" (as in the name of it) like the cube will be popular

What a way to put it in nice words! You basically summarized the toy in the perfect way. It doesn't do anything that would appeal to speedcubers, except come with shiny stickers

Does it even do anything rubiks cube related? I just don't understand why they could slap the word rubiks on it! It's like painting a lightbulb tan and calling it a pear

LOL anyway, yes. it is cube related. it has the rubik's name on it and its a cube shape, and stickers, but other than that it isnt any way like the cube

Besides that, we call them the Rubik's cube for a reason... We never call them Rubik's twisty turny cube thing with lots of combinations...
for that reason, it really IS a rubik's cube... A piece of suck, but a cube none the less
