They've taken to advertising the disgrace on Myspace. I keep rejecting them as a friend, but they keep trying to add me. Shortly after meeting Bryan Logan, I decided to send them a message with a good phrase he mentioned.
Quote:
Unfortunately they thought that was support more than criticism.

I'm undecided between it being hilarious or sad.
For those who don't know it:

Dudes, please comment your quotes. xcool, when you posted the follow-up part, I seriously didn't realize it and didn't even read the quote until now (never quote an external source without making readers aware of it). And Clayne, what's up with the quotes of nick^4 and me? I don't understand.

Ha, I could see it now. About 50 or so speecubers are there playing with real cubes, and the RR company comes up to us and is like "Hey, try out new puzzle out!!!"
Cubers: "Wow, this thing sucks. Real people should buy real cubes!"
*Rubik's sales go up 300%*

Ah, I thought that it may have been unclear.
I meant to use your quote to reply to nick's. He showed Bill Cosby shamelessly supporting New Coke, and I felt the same about that, that you did towards the Rubik's Revolution conversation.
So in reply to the Bill Cosby video, I couldn't decide if it was hilarious or sad.
P.S. I chose sad.

Sorry. I should have mentioned that was the second half of the conversation I had with them.
Anybody can contact them via Myspace. It shouldn't be to hard to find them.

Well duh, because rubik's is the one making endorsing it! Even if the product sucks, for every person out there that buys it, they get money. In they end our friendly(?) puzzle company is just a money hungry monster!
Hey, xcool, I'm guessing that improper American bugs you eh? Lol

Rubiks revolution is definately a shame to rubik's in all ways. If your gonna make a new rubik's "puzzle", at least have the sides turn, but it will provide a new bop-it for small children! Very disappointing. The sad thing is that in the future, kids might hear the word rubik and thing of that dumb thing.

Oh well, the rest of the world can fall into chaos, but we cubers will remain true!
@Nate: What does your signature mean you're not a speedcuber yet?? If you cube for speed, then you are a speedcuber! I was a speedcuber at 1:30. Besides that, you've done some harder puzzles then I have *points to square one*

Erno has been brainwashed!! CUBERS, ASSEMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is quite sad... the fall of humanity as we know it? Or just the fall of the popularity of the cube? Doesn't bug me, I like having a small community, makes things easier to keep track of.

I was actually considering it until I realized that the faces don't actually turn and it's nothing more than an overglorified Simon. I'm really hoping that no one gets it for me, because people know that I'm a cuber, and it'll be just crushing if they see my look of disappointment.

The way I prevent this from happening is to tell everyone _not_ to get me any puzzles since the chances are that I already have it anyway. Now the only puzzles I get are usually hand made or one-of-a-kind type things.

I'm not really surprised...At this point I don't think he honestly cares about introducing more amazing puzzles.

Yeah, I'm a cynic. I've spent too much time in the ad game myself to be anything but cynical when praise for a product happens to contain all the right "buzzwords" and reads more like a marketing slogan than a genuine opinion.
But by law, they can't say Rubik said something if he didn't....

So would the oldies
Think about it, without him, you wouldn't have wrote that Zac, you wouldn't talk to me, and you wouldn't know so much about Britain and our Queen copping it.
he is the creator of this community, the god of it.....then again Meffert would have released the 3x3 if Rubik wasn't kicking around.

Maybe that's because I'm so used to calling it a Rubik's Cube.

I thought about this and it actually stresses my tongue and mouth in general a lot more when I say "rubik's" instead of "mefferts".
