Yeah, I got a small set a year or two ago. They were giving them out as samples as long as you paid shipping.

I've long since lost the pieces.

Now these pieces, where they just cubes that could click together then would fit together onces the correct kind of pieces were made? Or were they shapes already made and perminant?

Thank you for sharing this cool plaything. Here in the toy boonies (=Luxembourg) I wouldn't find such things, even if I looked hard for ages.

live cube are great for prototyping interlocking burr-style puzzles...
not sure about twisty puzzles though :)

I highly recommend buying them in bulk!

They do have the tendency to come apart under the stress in assembling or solving burr puzzles, so one needs to glue them together for real handling.
But they are fairly cheap...

I might buy one set like the ones in the first video. But probably not untill this summer. I need the cash and the beaches aren't open yet. (I'm a lifeguard).
