Dancing Ampersands by OSKAR

Hi Non-Twisty Puzzles fans,

Dancing Ampersands is a puzzling kinematic art object. Seven snakes rotate in coordination. They look like the shape "&" (ampersand) when seen from above.

Interesting, they remind me of really think noodles doing the lambada :lol:

BTW, the word for & in English is ampersand.

Very cool!

The circular cross sections lead me to believe that you can make the "ampersands" to have any shape you like(assuming they are all the same shape, and retain said circular cross section) is this correct?
