i know this is the twisty forum, but i have a puzzle question, and there are people here who know a lot...

i'm looking for some information on the puzzles made of playing cards in the second photo on this page:

i think they might be board burrs, but i'm not certain.
if anyone can tell me how these are made, that would be great.

What you see is a puzzle called Three Card Burr by George Miller, with the inventor behind the table. You'll find out more on http://www.puzzlepalace.com - click on 2002 selection. I can see he only has two left for sale, so hurry. BTW I can recommend ALL puzzles by Oscar van Deventer found on that website.
