Hahahaha, I already saw this photo and it's funny! Next one will have to be a Rubik's Cube door knob... =D

Maybe the cube is simply bandaged, and in order to turn it in the direction of the doorknob, you must first unbandage it. This would require one face as the doorknob and at least a second connected to the door itself to prevent one from just turning the whole cube (for cooler, appearance, though, all 4 faces lateral can be sealed to the door with a spider-like appearance). Actually, I think I'll try this one and if you don't hear from me about it, it likely hasn't worked.

Nice one! However, does this not make the chain so long that the door can be opened too much which kind of defeats its purpose

Humm, certainly not, cause as I can see, the door won't open sufficiently for a person to pass (maybe a kid?). And more: in outer side, he can enter his arms, but he'll have to solve the labyrinth without seeing it.

Rotate it 90 degrees CCW. LOL indeed! I also would like to know if anyone had any success buying one of those. Personally, I had never ordered one, while a couple of puzzle friends had told me that they had trouble ordering. Pantazis
