ok so it looks like ball bearings but they are powerful magnets and you can make lots of 3d geometrical shapes. is it a puzzle? mabey. I think its cool how you can challenge your self to link different polyhedrons together in the fewest moves without taking the hole thing apart. invent a sequence, time it, upload a video, challenge your friends. also good for the puzzle builder who wants to look at a specific polyhedron on a physical model that can be made in seconds.

It's not really a puzzle, more a plaything. You can make pretty much all polyhedra with it. The dodecahedron is a bit unstable though, because all sides are pentagonal. But besides polyhedra there are much much more shapes you're able to make. But as Thomas said it's been discussed before
