Hi Guys, I am looking for people who are willing to take a couple of images every now and again to remove backgrounds from them.
It would be nice to have a bank of people I can call on here and there for casual images work.
Currently I have a pool of 54 images waiting for deep-etch, but only wish to hand out 2 - 3 images at a time per editor. I don't want to bombard anyone, and want to keep it an occasional thing.
Anyone keen to sign on as part of the Twistypuzzles distributed image factory?
Tasks: 1) Take a group of two or three assigned images over email or download link. 2) Cut the puzzles images away from the background. 3) Save as a PNG image. 4) Email back.
Please post here if you are keen to help out or shoot me a PM.
Thanks, All.

No worries, theVDude. Was hoping to see your name but it's ok. Life get's that way. Give me a yell if you ever can pick up one here or there.
Thanks, Frank, I'll get a set to you.
Kelvin, you still keen on that offer for a set?

Hi Wayne, sorry I did not see this until now - for some reason this thread does not appear under active threads (?) and I only noticed it because it appeared in the margin when you just posted. In short I'm still good to my word as I promised to do my bit and edit 10 images, but this will have to wait now until March, as February is my most busy time of the year at work. I hope that would be OK if you could send me a quick PM then. Regards, K.

I'm pleased to say that the process of working through back log of edits is going very well and the small team of graphic editors have been fantastic. Thank you all for the hard work.
As always, I would like more people on the team so that we can now accelerate the effort, like a human bittorrent.
So if you would like to join us and take a few images here and there you would be helping this community out no end.
Please get in touch on PM, and let me know your availability and I'll get some images out your way.

In case somebody fears to be drowned in pictures, I can assure you that Wayne won't do that. So far I was asked for nothing more than approx 8 hours of my time during the last two months. And you won't need longer than 1 hour to learn what to do if you ask me (and use GIMP). The database needs you!
